Herbert GHORMLEY, died at San Diego, California Friday night. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Machledt Funeral Home. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Rev. Grover DeNeal will be the officiating minister. - kbz

Services for Herbert M. GHORMLEY were held at the Machledt Funeral Home Wednesday Dec 1, 1954. Hubert (sic) passed away at his home in Lakeside, California Nov 26. He was the son of Justus M. and Clara Mills Ghormley, born in Waveland April 26, 1896. Besides his wife, Mrs. Hazel Ghormley, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Mrs. Sterling Daiglet (Elizabeth); Mrs. Philip Vetrano (Elaine) and Harry M. Ghormley; all of Houston, Texas; one brother, glenn of Thomasville, Georgia and 3 sisters: Mrs. John Cochrane of St. Cloud; Mrs. Mary Reynard and Mrs. Laila Wiliams of South Bend, Ind. Hubert was a veteran of WWI. The Rev. Grover C. DeNeal officiated and the Raymond Todd Post, American Legion served as pall bearers. --kbz
